Title: That concrete moment
Pairing: Ueda Tatsuya x Nishikido Ryo
Genre: romance, fluff
Rating: PG
Summary: There's a little reason for Ueda to love him.
Notes: This was my first attempt to write RyoDa, and it's indeed very short, so I hope I've done it right. Comments are loved.
Ueda opened his eyes, blinked at the sudden daylight and touched the pillow next to his head to realize - just as expected – that Ryo wasn’t there.
He yawned, got up taking his time and went downstairs slipping on his robe. He peered into the kitchen, then into the living room. Nobody was in there.
The guitar chords came from the upper floor. Ueda stealthy went up to the attic and walked barefoot towards the opened large window.
He leaned his head on the doorframe and closed his eyes while listening at Ryo’s singing. He loved it when Ryo’s voice, not so husky as usual, trembled with each note and died in a silent, inaudible whisper.
That was a new song. The lyrics weren’t clear enough to understand, but Ryo’s humming was enough for Ueda to smile slightly. At that concrete moment he could find what really made Ryo attractive to him, despite everything else.
Ryo left his guitar on the floor next to him and turn round, just to gaze at Ueda and ask rudely:
‘Where’s my breakfast?’
