I was surprised not to find a fic about this earlier, so I decided to write it myself. Ah, and it is long. Quite long: 2944 words in a one-shot. So take your time to read it XD

Besides, as I still didn't have any idea for some of them, then I selected six bits of the lyrics of some songs in a CD a friend lent me (she's a big Grey's Anatomy fan, and the songs are mainly taken from her favourite episode in season five LOL). Ah, and the extension ranges from 120 to 250 words.

This is my best JE fic and also the longest piece of writing I've made in English so far, so I'm really proud of it. It took me several weeks, almost a month, to write it and then read it several times until I thought it was ready. And my beta was really fast proofreading it. Notas: Un regalo de Año Nuevo para todos los miembros de reyes_d_oriente . Cada una de las partes tiene como título una flor. Me he basado en sus significados: Amapola = Individualidad, sensación propia de las personas especiales y amantes de la vida; Iris = Elevación del espíritu, noticias placenteras, esperanza; Narciso = Egoísmo, belleza interior; Dalia = Inestabilidad, desorden, impulso, pasión; Enredadera = Lazos de unión y comprensión.
Por cierto, este es uno de mis TezuFujis que, al igual que Lingering melancholy y Absence of fear, sigue la línea de un Fuji desesperado por no haber sido capaz de luchar por Tezuka y haber perdido la oportunidad de estar a su lado. De entre todos los fics de PoT que he escrito (que no son pocos), creo que estos tres son los mejores, y Flores efímeras es el que más destaca entre ellos. Diría que es mi fic favorito de PoT (de los que he escrito yo misma).
